Belmont Viaduct Cycleway |
I think this proposal would be a great way of connecting local communities on either side of the River Wear in Durham and I hope it is a success. It would be fantastic to see the viaduct put to good use so residents and visitors could enjoy the views and get out and about in this beautiful area. The route could also be used by workers and students to save them having to travel via the city centre to get to college and work. It is such a shame that the viaduct has been closed for as long as it has.
