Change your world with Connect2

Connect2 schemes offer people the opportunity to change their world by travelling by foot or bike for local journeys we all make everyday – to school, to work, or the shops.
Connect2 day is an opportunity for people to celebrate this through their own local event or by taking part in Sustrans’ Change Your World campaign where we encourage people to pledge to swap a regular car journey for a trip by foot, by bike, by bus or even to car-share. Pledge to swap one trip online for the opportunity to win fantastic prizes at www.changeyourworld.org.uk

Connect2 day last year
Connect2 day last year inspired thousands of people across the UK to vote for Sustrans. It was a brilliant day with 40 events happening across the country – see some of the fun photos here in this PowerPoint presentation.
This year Connect2 day is an opportunity to get out in the local community and celebrate what’s happening and to get a nice picture in the paper. There are teddy bear picnics, led bike rides and walks, bike skills sessions and fun days happening. One of our favourite ideas was generated by the delegates at this years’ conference – a story telling event. Story walks can introduce local spaces with fictional, magical, historical or humorous stories along the existing paths or along the proposed routes. Whatever you are planning locally, do get in touch and let us know so that we can send you branded materials. These days are a great chance for everyone involved and living locally to the project to get together in their neighbourhood and share their aspirations for future developments.

We have produced a template flyer for you to easily edit and create your very own A5 flyer. This example shows how Ballymoney used the template to promote their own event in mid-June. Ready to print A4 poster
A4 poster is available to download (pdf). We have produced an A4 poster for you to print locally in colour and distribute around the community. Please use marker pens or print sticky labels to personalise the front of the white space of the posters with the title and subtitle of your event or project. 

Ready to print A5 flyer
A5 flyer is available to download (pdf). We have produced an A5 leaflet for you print locally in colour and distributed around the community. Again please use marker pens or print sticky labels to personalise the front and back of the white boxes on the poster with the title and subtitle of your event or project.

Calling all graphic departments!!
A5 flyer is available to download (pdf). We have produced an A5 flyer which is different from the previous A5 flyers available. This flyer is for your graphics department to create and edit your own individual flyer. If you want to create your own flyer with the title, images and details of your event or project then we have artwork available which your designers can edit for you. If they can edit your details inside the white blank spaces and keep the same images and format of the poster so it’s consistent with all the pdf templates. Please contact us if you wish to create your own poster and we can supply the artwork.
