Worcester Waterfront starting to Connect

One of Worcester’s most eagerly-anticipated regeneration projects starts this week when work gets underway on the City Council’s £1 million waterfront enhancement. The works will revive the waterside area between the city bridge and Diglis. This will be enhanced further by the Worcester Connect2 project: A Severn Bridge at Diglis Lock and Link to Powick which is to be delivered in partnership with Sustrans, Worcester City Council and Worcester County Council. For the full story on the improvements in the run-up to Connect2 in Worcester visit the Worcester News site.

"This is a great honour; I love the thought of becoming part of the landscape alongside Dick Wagstaff and the great Richard Burton. I'm hoping that my sculpture might be able to persuade Burton's sculpture to quote some poetry of an evening, or at least a bit of War of the Worlds." Rob Brydon
